An effective product strategy helps to set long-term and near-term goals, aligns and focuses teams around it, and ultimately allows a product manager to bring high customer and business impact.
There are, however, many examples when product strategies are put on a shelf without providing much value. I have experimented with multiple frameworks in different companies and will share an approach that allows you to create an effective product strategy that is used continuously.
In this session, we’ll talk about what a product strategy should cover and not, how each part of it is created, who can help you and why should you not develop it in a silo and communication tactics for a product strategy.
